BlackBerry Peal 9105 - Faulty handsets

Well, i upgraded on-line on the 14th of October 2010. I received my first faulty handset on the 18th October. I arranged an exchange and the second handset i received was ALSO faulty. I arranged ANOTHER exchange and AGAIN received a faulty handset. I arranged ANOTHER exchange after being told that I was to pay £40 for repair which i immediately protested against. I was then told to go to my local Vodafone store to confirm the fault (because i'm going to lie about my phone being faulty) which i done swiftly and the fault was indeed confirmed. I waited in for the handset to be delivered. After not receiving it on the date set by Vodafone, i phoned customer services to be told that there was no exchange instruction.... Why? I am now waiting for my 5th exchange and i hope that this is the final handset i receive. How do i get back the loss of earnings from my employment which i have had to have numerous days off because of a fault that is not my own? I have been with Vodafone altogether around 6 years and have never experienced such terrible customer service from Vodafone. I would like this issue thoroughly resolved else it seems I have no choice but to leave Vodafone. I look forward to someone restoring my faith in the U.K's leading mobile network.

Re: BlackBerry Peal 9105 - Faulty handsets

After your response i sent my phone off for repair and lo and behold, it could not be repaired so was sent a different handset. Two new and one "new" (clearly refurbished) handset later, and I'm still no closer to a solution. :smileymad: This is beyond a joke now. It really is. I expect a response asap.

Yes, I responded to George's E-mail and was advised to send my phone for repair which I did. As the previous post says, 3 phones later and I'm still having issues.

Re: BlackBerry Peal 9105 - Faulty handsets

Thanks for getting back to us Maxuk

Please can you confirm/expand on the nature of the fault so we can gather more inforamtion.

As a side note, If you suspect that you may be without your handset for a period of time, it is always advisable to insert your sim into an alternative handset, even a basic PAYG device, this way you are still able to use your contract and minutes.

Thanks

Reidar

Re: BlackBerry Peal 9105 - Faulty handsets

Just check my notes on my account, you will see the recurring fault. I'm tired now of running around being transferred from department to department via customer services. In 2 days I had spent 2 hours and 31 minutes on the phone trying to solve this problem (because no-one had a clue as to where my call should be directed to). I am already borrowing a friends old PAYG handset, which shouldn't have to be the case after making Vodafone aware of this problem since the 18th October, nearly TWO months!

Meganaustin, take it from me, this thread is currently being ignored. You'll get a faster reply if you start a new topic titled "Looking to upgrade" (Or somewhere along those lines)

Here, you can see what the fault is with this phone. Please look at the central button. Also, please note how the screen protector and the film on the back case have not been removed. This is straight from the box.

I have about 12 other photos from various angles also, which include the condition of the box when it arrived.
