I know that certain versions of OS 6.0 have been sent to carriers for the Storm 2. Verizon Wireless have said that they won't release OS 6.0 for the BlackBerry 9550 phone over in the States. Have Vodafone made a decision about releasing OS 6 on the Storm 2?

I was under the impression the current spec of the Storm2 wasnt up to the requirements for OS6 ... Would like to see what verizon have said about it..

is very old news, vzw stopped testing months ago (pre appworld 2.0) as it just takes up too much memory, seems from the 9570 shots that it would leave users with apx 30mb free space

thanks daveastra, i thought it was something new... Id bet no OS6 for Storm2, period!

We can at least hope. The 9550 won't get os 6 - 100%. 9520 is only 95% Seeing as Voda isnt denying anything, they're probably testing some solutions. This increases chances of a beta leak *wink wink*

i'd lay a bet that a leak is the best to be hoped for tbh... and the mods here never confirm or deny anything that the marketing team havent already announced.

to be honest, i wouldnt be too upset if i was a storm2 user and i didnt get OS6, all the fancy new features and the only one i use now that I didnt use on OS5 on my bold is the social feeds...
