Hi,

Can anyone tell me under what circumstances my phone would be registered 4 months before I bought it.... This is what

I discovered when I received it and subsequently tried to register it.

Any ideas please, My first thought is someone has had this unit before me, and its been issued as new to me, could this be correct?

Can I perhaps then ask the question another way, has any one else bought a phone from vodafone that was registered with vodafone before they bought it????

So a quick few questions from me

Did the phone come in original packing? or was it a bright red vodafone box?
What are you trying to register your phone for? and where?

I was registering the phone iaw initial set up for bbm, emails etc, and basically for vodafone to appreciate the phone is mine on

the VF website. I did this on line.... it told me the phone had been registered in June... I was doing mine in November...

I think it was the normal red and white box, with a sealed sticker, and came direct from Vodafone at my new contract date.

Im bringing this up now because Im having a few issues with this phone, BB 9300, and it is not working as described at the selling point,

and I would like to get something different. If this phone is not brand new that would be my out, although how difficult this would be is yet to be seen.

I have been cut off at the Tech Customers services so often when trying to find out what the score is Ive given up using the phone

method.
