Ive just got a Bold 9700 and am struggling installing Blackberry App World on it. Also how do i set up my hotmail account to be used on my Blackberry? Thanks

Hello parn79,

What problem are you getting when trying to install App world?

As for setting up your email, if you are set up for BIS, go to Setup then Email Settings and follow the instructions.

Hi, not sure if my question is in the right place, this is all new to me.

Wondered if anyone can help please, i've had my BB Bold for 6 months and have got used to using the basics, i set up my hotmail email with no problems and face book app, was recently told about app world, have loaded the recent version, BUT when i go to sign in to download an app, it keeps saying that 

email address/ password is not recognised or its wrong, but i know its not! i deleted my hotmail email and re installed it, have upgraded the wireless software ect but nothing has helped. I'm still receiving email to my phone so i know its not a case of having the wrong email adress or password. have been trying to log on to app world for 2 days now and it's driving me mad! i'm not the most clever person when it comes to technology, so if anyone can give me some help i would be very gratefull

Have you registered with BB app world? There should be a link to register, if you haven't.

Hi, thanks for response, don't think i have registered with BB ap world, where can i do that?

I agreed to terms and conditions when i added the app to phone, and i can access the app itself, when i go to a app i want to download and it asks me to log in with blackberry id i put in my email and password and it says that its unable to validate email and password.

Hi Emma,

Are you typing in your email address and your email address password to log in ?

What you need to do is create a Blackberry ID by using your email address and choosing a password for your account.

When you go onto the blackberry appworld press create account or sign up and follow instructions.
