Blackberry Bold 9700 - 2nd contract

I have a BB Bold 9700 and since i cannot upgrade until June 2011 i was hoping to get a second VF contract so that i could have the rather lovely BB Torch 9800. I contacted CS and asked if it were possible to reduce my current contract, to say £10 a month, so that i could then have a Torch at £35 a month. Thought this would not be much of a problem but depending on who i spoke to i got very different answers.
A courtesy call from VF meant i could ask about the above. They said it probably won't be much of an issue and to call back when i have reduced my contract, so that i could then place an order for a Torch. It was the CS people that first seemed a bit confused, and gave me a (rather rude, has to be said) refusal and hung up on me. Nice.
Can i ask you online guys (you lot are usually better at this stuff than those CS people), would this be at all possible? I would have thought VF would love me to hand them more of my dosh but it seems that's a no!!

I can confirm what CarlJ has stated here. If you are on the YPL price plan then you would be unable to bring your price plan down a step. However if you are on one of our older price plans this would be possible. So that we can check this for you I'm going to send you an email over to the email address that you registered with. All you need to do is hit reply and fill in all of the information it asks for and we'll get back to you as soon as possible
