You sir have no idea about blackberry.
OS is a great update. The ability to move onwards and add new stuff is better i.e. 6.1 which is being released with the new range phones (Bold Touch etc).
The visual difference is more than enough to upgrade. OS looks sharper more up to date and what you would expect to see when getting a decent handset regardless of RIM using outdated hardware (changes for the new range, cannot wait 
) but the possibilities are endless.
The browsing experience has been enhanced and upgraded.
The fact your claiming the OS sucks , just shows your lack of knowledge in a blackberry device.
Any upgrade is a step forward.
As for your comment regarding the memory is low then if you had done any research you would know of an app that shrinks your OS, freeing up more memory. Its call BBoSS OS Shrinker 1.1 - Search on crackberry.com for it.
If you have a considerable amount of 3rd party apps that could also be a reason for your memory to be low as developers dont take the device optimizing into consideration and therefore some apps will work better than some with some causing major memory leaks.
I've been running the OS for almost 3 days , music been on at work and class easily for 2-4 hours + extensive bbm, facebook and sms and a few 20min phone calls to my gf on the way home. I still somehow have atleast 40%. 30 mins charge brings me back up to 80%
Sounds like your just trying to make the OS6 seem bad.
