It happened earlier today, I pulled out the battery which usually works but this time it hasn't! Any quick fix methods? Could a tech team member fix it in store?

A completely blank screen on reboot?
Google seems to prefer to call this the White Screen of Death. Doesn't sound promising, does it?

The fix seems to be to reload the OS (needs to be plugged in to a computer). The trick, apparently, is to does this WITHOUT the battery.

Search for 'blackberry white screen' for plenty of tutorials. Some will be scary and say that the phone is bricked - others will give you a bit more of a chance of revival (there's a good YouTube video that walks you through).

Is everything backed up? Any fix will involve losing all data on the phone.
