Recently I lost my Blackberry phone at a gig but I've now had it returned. When I got it back, the screen was all cracked and scratched and when I turned it on, it was just a blank white screen. I tried turning the phone off but it wouldn't, so I tried taking the battery out and putting it back in, and it just turned itself on automatically, still with the white, blank screen. I then took the battery and SIM card out and put the battery back in. The phone then started to play music that was on the memory card so again, I took the battery out and left it out. I read online that someone had a similar problem with their Blackberry only having a white, blank screen and that they just left the phone on charge overnight and it worked again. I'm trying to charge it at the moment, but the red LED light isn't on, so I'm not sure if it's actually working.

Can anyone suggest something I could do to try and get it to work again? Or if you know how long it would take to repair, and where I should take it to get repaired (Vodafone - where I brought the Blackberry, or a Blackberry repair place)? Also, around how much would it cost? Thanks

If you've got Cover Me Insurance on your account you might be able to make a claim, more information here.

If you don't pay for insurance then you'd need to look at the possibility of a repair which would be chargeable with physical or accidental damage not coming under the warranty - more information on repairs can be found here. Generally the easiest way I've found to look into / arrange repairs in the past has been through a retail store.

Same thing happened to me yesterday only I trew mine at a wall? IM getting fixed buy screen on eBay mine was £7.99 then look for some to fix it?X
