Blackberry Curve 9300: Internet Crashing and cannot receive MMS messages

I'm pulling my hair out. When I try to go into the internet it crashes the home broadband and I cant receive picture messaging either.
Spent most of today trying to get someone to help me in Customer Services - which is costing me a fortune as I have to use my land line. They sent me fixes that dont work, I cant understand what they are saying, I'm so angry and frustrated. The "manager" is suppose to call me back tomorrow. The phone is only 3 weeks old and I've only just had time to try to get it sorted out.
Has anybody any ideas? Please.

Hiya, can you maybe post some more stuff ........... :-)
The internet and MMS use the same part of the signal and so that makes total sense.
Do you have the same issue when you are away from the house - i.e. not using home broadband etc
Have you been able to use anyone else's wireless network to test
What happens when you say it crashes
Thanks

The problem seems to be your Device software. I believe you should take this phone to any vodafone shop and leave there for an hour. They will update the software for this phone.
********imp note*********
Please make sure you get the back up of your device
One of the way is to sychronize your contacts by installing desktop manager software on your PC/laptop and connect your phone by usb cable and get back up.
Other way is that you install Google application and sychronize your contacts to gmail email account(You must need to have gmail account)
You can download google app from www.getjar.com

Thank you for your replies. I took it to a vodafone shop yesterday and their computers were down so they couldn't check my account - settings etc.
I haven't tried it anywhere other than my own house.
Please bear with me. I'm not technicallhy minded.
I was on the phone most of Monday with your technical guys and in the evening I was promised the manager would call me tomorrow. That was yesterday and no one has yet called. Thanks.

Blackberry has crashed, can't get emails etc.
Is it my problem I don't have a signal when I pay a monthy for that service?
Why should I have to pay extra to get a signal?
How come yesterday I could get my emails on my Blackberry but today I can't?

I have been using my Blackberry for many months. I am not a new customer. Everything has been fine until yesterday.
Suggestion is that I should get a SureSignal because I only have 2G. Not my problem its Vodafones!
Why should I pay and extra £5 a month just to get a service I had yesterday?
YES, I AM GETTING MORE AND MORE ANGRY, HAVING SPENT A LOT OF TIME AT MY EXPENCE ON THE PHONE TO VODAFONE!

Hi jtcole,
Thanks for your post.
I can see you're very angry, but there's really no need to post in three separate threads.
Ok, so from your posts, one assumes that you've not got a signal.
Is this from the Sure Signal? Or is it when you're out and about.
I really want to help with this, but I've got hardly any information to work with.
Could we keep the conversation to just one thread please, just so it's easier to manage?
Cheers,
Lee
