Blackberry Curve - cant log into Blackberry app World

Can anyone help? I've read a few posts where people cant log into the blackberry ap world from their phone and i'm having the same problem. I've tried a few of the fixes but to no avail. I've created a blackberry ID, from my Pc and know I can log in with this but when i try to log in on my phone it goes to a 'Loading' screen and sits there going no further. I've tried de-installing the App world and installing again, pulling the battery on the phone but none have worked...
Is there a fix for this?

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for your post regarding accessing BlackBerry App World.
Can you confirm for me that you're able to send and receive email, as well as use the browser? This will help me establish whether the issue is provisioning related or not.
Can you also tell me whether GPRS is in upper, or lower case in the top right corner of the screen?
If you can let me know the answers to the above questions, we'll be able to get this sorted for you in no time at all.

Yes I can send and recieve email and the browser works too. The GPRS is in caps on the screen too.

Hi,
I'm having the same problem with my Blackberry Pearl, I signed up on my PC, it seems to login but when I download an app it just says 'loading' and just stays there for hours.

Hi guys,
Thank you both for posting. It sounds like app world isn't recognising your login IDs when you sign in on your phones. The first thing I'd recommend you do is to sign up for a new app world account and then use the new login details.
If that doesn't work either, and you've already removed and re-installed app world, then you may need to perform a factory reset. Instuctions for how to do this can be found on our Blackberry Help page.

Having created my Blackberry ID online and received a confirmation email, I then tried to download an app. I get to the login screen and entered my email and password. Then I get presented pages of T&C which it says I must accept. Problem is that it never puts the "I accept" box on the screen. I can scroll through all the T&C but no where is there a box to accept in fact it scrolls back to beginning and takes a while.
I have asked around the office where there are a number of more experienced BB users, and none of them could see what I was doing wrong or recall having the problem when they set their phone up.
Looking on the web, loads of people have similar problem but no one seems to have a clear consistent solution.
Appreciate any comments.

It just scrolls round back to the start again. Have gone really slowly through the document but there is no where to say OK.

Please see my video of the problem. The clip picks up where I have selected the app store, requested login which I have entered and the it asks me to accept the T&C.

Notice that I scroll down through the 17 clauses of the agreement but I never get the chance to accept. Then it loops back to clause 1. Pressing the BB button does nothing.
If they are all like this then it's amazing that they ever sell any apps.
If I'm being stupid then don't worry about telling me so, I'm used to it, I was married...........

hi i have a blackberry bold and im having the same problem, i have an email from blackberry saying that i am registered to the wireless network but i cant seem to log in!

I'm having the same problem with a storm. It freezes on authenticating. It's able to tell if I've put in the wrong password, but only freezes when I enter the correct one.
Interestingly it froze on the same screen when I tried to get it to send out a forgotten password email. However the email was sent to my phone.
This problem is frustrating as hell, I really feel like I'm not getting my monies worth and I've had nothing but problems with this handset.

Can I get you both to check Lee and George's posts higher up the page to start with? These options - reinstall, re-register and confirming how your signal is displayed will help us to see what's happening here for you.
Can you also confirm that you can access other features such as the browser, e-mail and Internet Messenger without issue? If not, what error are you getting?
