I have just received an email on my BB stating I needed to validate the email address for one of my email accounts. I logged onto BIS and tried to validate the password but it would not let me. I therefore changed the password on my email account and tried to do the same on BIS and again is states it is invalid. This means I am unable to get my emails on my BB (the main reason I bought the thing!).
Can someone help? I need to get my work emails on my blackberry and my IT department cannot find a problem on theiy system.

Work related emails require BES? (Business Enterprise Solution)
Is it a business phone?
If its personal phone and your looking the work emails on there, you will need to get your IT department to get the details of your internal server which is why i was talking about BES. (Business Enterprise Solution)
Quick call to VF to see if you even have the correct APNs etc via their IN_VIEW system should be enough to sort this.

In all honesty I'm not sure. You might indeed be correct about it being BES
Essentially, it is a personal phone that I use to check my work emails. I have all the details from my IT department, and back in December I set up the email account and it has worked absolutely fine. It was just today about 3 hours ago i stopped getting email and got a message asking me to validate my password. I tried and it said it was invalid. My IT Team have confirmed that all the details are correct.
I have also had to validate my password before and it has worked absolutel;y fine.
I was just wondering if anyonre had a solution on her, if it has happened to them before, or whether I'll have to ring vodafone and ask them to help.

Are you validating via setup>email settings?
If you have all the details and it worked before then you should grand.
try a battery pull 1st. (keep phone on , pull battery out put back in)
if that doesnt work then try resending service books to yourself then trying again. (options>advanced options>host routing table>press bb key>register now.
