Blackberry Pearl 9105 Internet Services help

My email services were working fine on my Blackberry until I had to put the SIM into my old Samsung phone to retrieve some phonebook data.  When I put the SIM back in my Blackberry, gprs was in lower case and BIS not working.  Vodafone say they have re-instated internet services and I have removed the battery and SIM to reset but this has not worked.  Can anyone offer any advice?! Can anyone help me?  I have been on the phone and emailed customer services, they tell me it will be fixed in 4 - 24 hours and nothing happens.  Have tried taking out SIM and battery, also done the Host Routing Table, Register now bit and gprs still in small type.  Pleeasse.

First and foremost a very warm welcome to the eForum, it is fantastic to see new users here! :smileyvery-happy:

 

I understand how frustrating this can be, the good news is we should be up and running in no time. 

 

There is a couple of settings we need to check, using our help centre we can see you have the latest updates, correct message centre numbers, and that your settings are configured correctly. :smileyhappy:

 

If this has not been successful and you are still not up and running then complete and reply to the email I have sent to the address you registered with, this way I can look at your account to see everything is in order this end. 

 

It can take some time for any changes on an account to register, so I hope you are up and running already.

 

If not, I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thanks DaveCD for offering to help. The help centre link leads to a blank page so I haven't been able to check if the settings and numbers are correct. and I also haven't received your email. Could you provide me with some further info re the settings. Many thanks.

My sincerest apologies as I have tried the link and it told me there was an error so this is most unusual and should never happen.

I have attached a fresh link and in doing so have noticed it was moved, oops.

 

Please check the message centre number which should be +447785016005 and the other settings can be found in the link above now.

 

I have also re-sent the email for you to complete and reply to, although could I ask that you check your Spam folder as every so often we end up there. :smileysad:
