I've been in my workplace foer the last 5 years or so and had a solid signal on Vodafone. The only change i've made over the last 3-4 days is i had my sim card switched to a new one as my original sim was getting old and worn and torn, when I switched to this new one may be a coincidence, but i've had dropping signal frequently and only pick up a 2G when i walk outside my office, my work colleague who also had a flawless signal is also experiencing the problems over the last few days... so i don't think it was the sim card swap thats done it, any suggestions with this?
Is there any way it could be the sim card swap thats changed the settings? I've disabled 3G on my blackberry as i can't really get a 3g signal and rebooted several times. When I tried In my BB network settings on manual on "Preffered at network list" it keeps putting "F SFR" on 3G 208/10 at the priority" and "Telenor SE" 3G 240/8 instead of "Vodafone"
Any suggestions? PS. My preffered network list all shows 3G next to them, could this be anything to do with it or is it just a possible Vodafone issue?

Yes I have tried the Sim in another phone (droid pro) and it didnt pick it up either. usually it'd pick the voda signal up in other phones. like i said its only the last few days
with regards to the coverage indicator I did get the following message:
Important service information. We're working on correcting a network problem that mayaffect the performance of your device in this area.
Do you think it may be resolved if this message is displayed?

Its at the hospital. its been great reception the last 4-5 years but has dropped off the last fortnight on Voda... Have updated my BB 9800 os to 18.104.22.1686 still no joy. no signal blockers in this place either. very gutted.. O2 signal is still fine though

I’ve just checked all sites in this area, and there is indeed an issue with a 2G site. The site is 4651 and is situated at Back Lane, WN69LD. The site has been down since 29th May 2011, but our engineers are aware and have raised a case, ref. 2235116. I do not have any timescales to when the site will be reinstated, but I’ll ask this to be added to our Faults Board, to allow updates to be obtained easier.

Ok thanks. any timescale yet? Its awfull none of my colleagues on Vodafone can get a signal either since 29th of may! Also I can't see any case raised on the forum. Could you please let me know. kind regards & many thanks!
