Hi there, have just changed my handset to a blackberry classic.

I cant seem to get mms working. internet works fine. I had to change from a micro sim to a nano sim, so sim is only 5 days old.

I txt for web settings and the reply said i needed to enter them manualy which i did following the information on the vodafone website.

i have also phoned customer service who have checked there are no bars etc on my account.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Thanks

Hi,

If your Apn's are correct and as your connecting to the Internet then I would give Customer service a ring back and ask them in these words to " Re Provision your account for MMS'

@craigconyard

In order to be able to send and receive MMS on a Blackberry Classic, you will need to have BIS provisioned on your account.

Please see the link below, it will give you all the information you need to be able to check that  Blackberry service is enabled on your account.

thanks, i am looking in to this now

Hi everyone, ive checked that my sim has been provisioned and has BIS yet still no joy. have double checked mms and internet settings as per vodafone website and all is correct?

Certainly a conundrum. 😏

As MMS is a chargeable service I assume you have credit if on payg.

Possible alternatives in the interim while you investigate are

BBM

WhatsApp

Viber

Good Old eMail

(free and doesn't have file size restrictions like MMS)
