Blackberry internet problems

hi im using the blackberry 8250, I took my sim card out and inserted it again and it seems as if everything has mixed up. I have connection to internet through my browser but I have no email services and everytime i try to set up my email account again it says 'your device had a problem connecting to the server' also some of my applications will not work either!

I would really appreciate any assistance, thank you.

Re: Blackberry internet problems

Hi,

As a first step it might be worth updating your host routing table and resending your service books.

There's some extra help and support on how to do this in the below video (it might be a different BlackBerry make or model but the menus are pretty similar)

How to resend your service books

Re: Blackberry internet problems

Alternatively you can go to;
Options>Status>type TEST

This brings up the blackberry self diagnostic tool and you can test network and connectivity issues manually.

but as redpages mentioned - simply sending the service books should correct the problem.

in future *DO NOT REMOVE SIM CARD* unless instructed to do so ie. for sending it off to repair.
SIM cards are not made for durability and they get damaged very easily.
