My Blackberry services are getting from bad to worse... I was on the BB 9700 and all services were perfectly fine until i upgraded to the BB 9790 when all hotmail emails had a lag of upto an hour.... I decided to return the BB9790 as i didnt really like it and went back to my old BB9700... Since iv done that i can send emails from my Hotmail on BB but am not receiving ANY emails on my Blackberry..! I have deleted all service books... deleted Hotmail frm BIS on Vodafone.. Re enabled it... Done the lot.. Vodafone even replaced my SIM for me... PLEASE HELP as that is my main email account...!

As a temporary measure, set up a mobileemail.vodafone.net address from your BB email setup application. Then tell Hotmail to redirect all mail to this address.
Go back to BB email setup & alter the from/return addresses to your hotmail address. In order to keep a copy of your outgoing emails, set a BCC address (if you set this as your hotmail account, you might be able to set a filter in hotmail to push these straight into your sent folder).
The above may need tweaking as I don't use Hotmail.
Setting up a mobileemail.vodafone.net address will, at least, tell you if it's a phone/vodafone issue or whether it's a problem between Hotmail & RIM.
