Bold 9700 connection problems

I am having problems connecting my device with the USB cable. I have tried three cables, and while my PC sees my Blackberry Bold 9700, and evenb recognises its PIN, it will not allow me to sync. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the software, but to no avail.
Can anyone help?

Hi,
can you be a little more specific on the problem that you are having with syncing the BlackBerry. Is the option to sync missing?, are you able to get into sync setup to tell it what you want to sync and how? or does it allow you to sync and then come up with an error and fail to sync?
Also, if you are using Windows Vista, when you install the BlackBerry Software, you sometimes need to install it using Administrator priveleges (Right click on the downloaded install file and select Run as Administrator)
