Bold 9700

Hi -

 

I just started with pay monthly after a 4 month break - before I was on a 30 day rolling contract.

 

2 questions.

 

First - Vodaphone said I should reconfigure my Blackberry for pay monthly - how do I do that?

Second - my hotmail email isn't working (it was 4 months ago). When I try to set up my hotmail account using the email set up icon, it doesn't accept my user name.

 

Any suggestions? Thx

Thanks for your post.

 

I'm a bit confused as you say you were on a rolling contract but you've been advised to change your BlackBerry with the Pay Monthly settings. My understanding is they are one and the same unless I'm missing something.

 

Can you answer the following questions for me?

 

  • Do you have the BlackBerry icon in the top right of your screen? 
  • Is GPRS or 3G in lower, or upper case characters?
  • Do any of your applications work?
  • Can you access App World?

If you're still unable to access Setup and add your hotmail account, could you try the following for me?

 

BlackBerry key

Options

Advanced options

Host Routing Table

BlackBerry key

Register now

 

Let me know and we'll have a further look into this if needed.
