Hi angiek77
Thanks for your pos there. I’m sorry to hear that you are getting these calls. I understand how annoying this must be for you, partly because I used to get calls from this number too!
I’m afraid we cannot block incoming calls. I would suggest simply not answering it.
After doing some research when I was getting the calls I found out that there are apps for smart phones that allow you to disguise what number you are calling from, so, it could either be somebody playing a prank, or a company.
If it gets to the point where you are getting lots and lots of calls you can report this to the police. If you get a crime reference number we can change your number for you if you wish, for free.
Thanks

There are free call blocking apps in the blackberry app world, i personally use one called Call Control Blacklist Lite and it has worked so far! It's easy to use: once the call has been received, go in to your call logs and press the blackberry button to bring up a menu and in there near the top usually, you can choose to add the dodgy number to the black list, meaning it will be sent straight to voicemail (or just hung up on depending on what you choose in the app options), the app also blocks known nuisance numbers based on numbers submitted via their reporting system. I hope this is of some help ![]()
p.s. sometimes things like Skype can use this type of number, so it may be someone calling you using Skype? But personally i'd block it to be on the safe side!
