Can't connect to Wi-Fi

Hello all,
Been using a Blackberry 8900 for a while now, but recently the Wi-Fi connection has been very unreliable, and now its stopped working completely!
Now, its not refusing to work wi-fi full stop, its finding networks and connecting, sending and receiving pings, BUT its fully connecting..... I still get the network information at the connection screen (signal strength, network name etc) it also states that the Wi-Fi connection has been successful when I manually connect it. Its not just on my home network, its also on other networks that I can connect to.
Looking at the Wi-Fi diagnostics there's no VPN information (VPN profile not found) and obviously no information for the Blackberry services. Has the status "Network aquired" but there isn't much else on there.
Have switch off my router and re-set it, switched off the phone's wi-fi pickup and the other connections but no luck, going to try and reset the phone next but if that doesn't work what other options do I have? Has the latest software on the OS.
Thanks
Nathan

Hi nmcquaid2010,
Thanks for your post about WiFi on your 8900.
If all you've tried so far has failed and the reset fails then looking at your post, I'd say it could be faulty. If this is the case then we offer a free repair service so long as the handset is still under warranty.
How old is the handset now? You might be eligible for an upgrade and we can help you with that if you like.
Cheers,
Lee
