So, my email was being pushed to and from my BBB 9000, but evil apple demands that all people using there mobileME service must upgrade to the 'Cloud' and in order to do this you need to upgrade to Lion.
I have done all this, only to find, once the process was over that i got an email on my BB that said please verify your password.
i logged on my BIS, and confirmed my passowrd only to get a message saying the email was invalid.
Phoned CS which is a waste of time as they had no clue, asked me to make sure i was on a 3G connection, and my interent was working, when I confirmed they changed tac and said that Apple and blackberry are two different companies and dont work together. When i told them they ad been for the past 3 years until I uograded to I cloud they were once again clueless.
Anyway, after speaking to apple who say BB should just find it, and are not sure what is wrong, I went back to VF, this time i was able to get to a screen that asked for more deatils. I inputted the email server in "IMAP.me.com" and my user names and I still get
'Cannot log in. Verify your emailaddress, user name and password. If the error persists contact mac.com"
All the deatils are correct I got them from apple, and pphoned apple again, and they throw the old '3rd party devices at me and are unable to support them'
So it's back to you vodafone and blackberry. Blackberry which I can't get hold off.
So do you guys and gals have any idea.
To sum up.
Emails working fine till i ove to the cloud
I have inputted the correct email/username and password in. My BB unable to verify the account so asks me to input more info.
The email server and username is the one that apple have given me, and is on various websites.
i like apple computers but not he so called Iphone, i use BB for email, and am out of the office a lot, so this is an issue i need to get fixed and sorted but it seems no party knows what is happening or why.

I think you may have the wrong server settings.
According to this Apple KB article you should be connecting to "imap.mail.me.com"
Try this server using your login details.

Not really sure what to suggest.
Assuming you have all the correct server settings there is no reason for it to not work.
The only people who would be able to help with an authentication issue like this would be Apple as it's their service.
