Hello,

I need to add an existing email account to my Blackberry through the mobileemail.vodafone.net system. The username on the account is not the same as the email address, yet there is no option to change the username - it's shown as being the email address with no option given to change it to anything else.

Any help or advice on this would be greatly appreciated before I pull out all of my hair.

Hi Shaun.

The best way to add an email address is through the Email Setup on the BB itself.

Follow the options for Other Account (I assume it's not a GMail, Yahoo or Hotmail account) and enter the email address & password.  When this fails (since the username is not the email address) you will be given an Advanced Settings menu (either under the dialogue boxes or by pressing the Menu Button).  From here you can enter IP addresses & usernames.
