Arghhhhhhh! I have spent the grand total of 1.5 hours tonight on the phone to you guys trying to sort a problem with my phone. I have a Blackberry Curve 9300, I have had a contract with you since September/October 2010 and have had nothing but trouble with my Blackberry since. My original handset has been repaired twice and only this March my phone was exchanged for a supposed new one - I have since found out it was a reconditioned one. The "new" phone has now developed the same problem as my old one and I have had enough! My earpiece speaker has blown - again - so that I cannot hear the other person when making or receiving calls. I rely on my phone as I have 2 disabled children and need to be able to be contactable at all times in case there is a problem whilst I am away from home. I spoke to 3 differnet people tonight who all said that all they would be prepared to do is send my phone away for repair - firstly leaving me with no phone and secondly - this seems to be a common fault, 4 times in less than 2 years, on 2 handsets! I have 3 contracts with Vodafone and pay out in excess of £100 every month. I have never missed a payment, never been late making payment and have always been more than patient with you when I have had a problem in the past but enough is enough. I have been told that if I want to cancel my Blackberry contract it will cost me £100 and if I want to upgrade to another phone it will cost me £100! This is an absolute joke, I asked to speak to a manager and was told they dont speak to customers and then the agent hung up on me, I am apalled at how I have been treated tonight. Can someone please help me? All I want is either a new (not reconditioned) phone, a new contract with a upgrade to a different phone or my accont closing so I can go elsewhere (without paying £100). I am not a scammer, I pay insurance every month and can provide proof of my children's dissabilities if required.....I can not be without a working phone.

Hi superman106,
I'm sorry to hear you've had a poor experience with your BlackBerry 9300. It's a very popular handset for many people and it's a shame you've managed to have issues with two handsets in succession. Your device warranty covers you for repairs (or if need be replacements when a repair is not available) for manufacturing issues. The replacement unit isn't necessarily a new one - it just has to be a quality tested one.
The good news is that if you have insurance on your BlackBerry 9300, you may be able to get a loan phone from a Vodafone store if you send it for repair through them. This service is available for insurance customers only, to help ensure you're not left without a phone for your SIM whilst it's being looked at. ![]()
If you'd like to discuss your upgrade or cancellation options, feel free to email my team by using the instructions I've sent via Private Message. You can find your PM inbox here. ![]()
Cheers, Ben
