Ok this is now starting to drive me mad....WHY do blackberry's not sync correctly with mac's? is it becuase they're peed off that much with Apple that they decide to ###### up every time you try to sync it?
Every time i conect the device - it crashes, every time i eject the phone - it crashes and I can't exit the software - when i try to sync my contact from my address book - yup you guessed it - it doesn't work.
I've had to dig out my old copy of the missing sync in iorder to get this to work properly....WHYYYYYY!![]()
I only got it last friday and i'm sooo close to enabling my 7 day cool off period and switch back to an iphone, the phones great but linking it to anything else in my life is just a nightmare...

Hi tonybones,
Not a Mac user myself, but it is possible that a couple of things could be causing the problem for you.
The first thing to check is that you have the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager for MAC installed, and that it is compatible with your version of OSx (latest version v2.2.1.7)
The second thing to check is that you are on the latest software for your BlackBerry (Latest 9900 software at present is 7.0.0.585).
As Tomo1971 has sucessfully managed to get his BlackBerry working with a MAC, it may be that there is something on your MAC which is causing the issue to occur. Have you tried plugging the BlackBerry into and syncing on a different machine (either another MAC or a Windows based PC), as if the problem follows the handset around, it would indicate a problem with the BlackBerry, but if the problem goes away on another computer, this would definitely indicate a possible issue with the setup on the MAC you are using.
Hope this helps
Grayman
