So many customers seem unhappy with their Storms ?
Iv had mine since day of release & have been so happy with it
NO problems at all ,love it
I CAN'T live without BBM its changed my life ,the people iv met & become friends with
Only thing i use it so much iv been going over my 500mb pcm
so rang Vodafone to see if i could increase it by cutting my inclusive calls or SMS
Im in a 24month contract which runs out in Aug 2011
Wasn't any problem i got 1gb data 600mins down to 300mins calls unlimited SMS still
& nice customer service man cut my bill from £35 to £25 for the rest of my contract
Which by them the Storm 3 might be out

Im a happy storm 2 user...although i did have a battery problem but i got some new batteries of amazon dirt cheap and love my storm again.
I got it from release too but should only be 18months...i'm being told i cant upgrade til august too! wtf

I got a Blackberry storm 2 on PAYG last week and all I can say it its totally amazing, I've met loads of people on BBM and the device in absolutely amazing however there is a few things id like recrucifying.
When I open up the service status I get the following message.
Blackberry internet service
Connection; Mobile network
Blackberry Enterprise Server
Connection : Not connected.
occasionally it comes up as connected via WIFI and the wifi image on the homescreen on the storm goes gets lighter, it then gets darker and says :Not conencted
I can only assume its ment to be connected all the time to either wifi or network, I receive emails okay every few hours or so however when I tried to sign up to App world I get anotther message saying.
"Cannot connect to the App world server. Make sure that your device is connected and try again"
Could this to do with the Enterprise server not being conencted.

4yorks are you a BIS (BlackBerry internet service) or a BES (BlackBerry Enterprise server) user? By the sounds of things your a BIS user, BES services wont work for you, however you should be able to connect to the blackberry App World. Have you tried pulling the battery out and resetting to see if this resolves the problem?

App World has been a bit quirky over the past few days, possibly down to the update encouraging users to hammer the servers. Seems to be fine for me now, but I had the same error the other day.
I think the issue was at RIMs end not ours.
