Help! Blackberry curve stuck on white screen

Please help, I think my phone is very broken!

For the past few weeks its kept freezing, the only way to get it unfrozen is to take the battery out and replace it and turn on.
Then recently it will randomly go to a white screen that says 'app error 200' - 'reset'

the only way to clear this is either to again take the battery out, or press enter when 'reset' is highlighted.

This used to clear the screen and once the phone had reloaded (takes about 10 mins)  it was back to normal.

I noticed these problems got worse since downloading the updated facebook app so i deleted facebook a few days ago, and then today i deleted blackberry app world, was asked to restart the phone which I did and now it is stuck on that same white screen saying app error 200. I cant get past it at all.

I can't get to a vodafone store and need my phone working 24/7, is there anything i can do, maybe a factory reset to get it back to normal?

Please Please help me!

Re: Help! Blackberry curve stuck on white screen

Hi,

To be honest in this situation the first thing I'd try out would be a factory reset (although be sure to back up any of your information first if you still can). There's instructions on how to dothis if you select your model from the below list then look in the Misc FAQ section

Vodafone BlackBerry device support

If that doesn't work then there's more information on warranty and repairs at the following link:

Re: Help! Blackberry curve stuck on white screen

All you need to do is connect the device to desktop manager , make a back up and then reload the software. Factory reset I don't think will solve it though. Especially if he can't get past the white screen.
