Go to BIS Page
Logo onto your account, edit your email setting and put the relevant signature in the signature box and then SAVE.

Hi Barbelfisher,
Go to Setup, Email Settings and delete your email account off your phone.
Take battery out and then put it back in and it should automatically restart the handset.
When the phone comes back on go to options, advanced options, host routing table then press the menu key and press register now.
That will register it on the network - then go back to set up and email settings and set your email account up again by typing your email address and password.
Then to change your signature - once your email is working again.
Go to setup, choose the email settings and pick the email you want to edit and it should give you the option to edit signature. change it to what you want then press save.
Try this and see if that works. if you still have no luck - try calling 191 from your handset or pop into your local branch.
Hope this helps

Hey,
What does it say when you try and send an email ?
Do you have the email icon in your menu to say it is set up ?

I would start from scratch again with your new number. It may be a blessing in disguise!

There is nothing more you can do at your end, it is up to customer services to sort this.
I had exactly the same problem and error message when I got my Storm1, my BIS wasn't set up properly at VF's end.
One of the e-forum team sorted it for me because basic customer services were screwing it up all time. I seem to remember Tom was pretty annoyed as he had sent a memo around about adding BIS, but nobody had read it!!!
