I'm having exactly the same problems on my Bold 9780. No problems for the first few months of my contract, then in the last 4 months or so I've not been able to use my phone properly, and this past week everythings just gone completely downhill. Today I've upgraded and restored it becauser the upgrade made the problems worse. I really wish I hadn't bothered with Blackberry and If I could cancel my contract right now I would. I feel like i'm wasting my money!! Sent an email to customer support about it as i'm literally at the end of my tether with the string of problems with Blackberry, it's just one after the other.

Thanks for your post via the support function on Facebook. Firstly let me apologise that you were cut off from customer services, I'll certainly help and get the situation resolved for you. Elfwitch, we don't want you to feel like that so I'll endeavour to turn the situation around for you as well.
If GPRS is in lowercase it would suggest that you're not provisioned on the BlackBerry Internet Services and therefore won't be able to connect to the internet or receive any emails.

i have a curve 8520 and i have had the same problem since last week. i really need help as i use my phone for business and cant receive or send emails from my phone

Hi - I've got the same problem. I've got a Vodfaone BlackBerry Curve 8900 which has gprs in lower case and I've tried for months to get it fixed. I spent 2 hours in my local Vodafone shop but they couldn't do anything either. I tried a new network to see if that helped, it didn't. I've been on the phone to Vodafone and to the new provider (Tesco) for hours. Vodafone says I need to be added to Tesco and Tesco says I need to be removed from Vodafone but when I use my old Vodafone SIM it still doesn't work. I've upgraded the device, rebooted, changed networks back and forth - nothing. It's driving me mad - please can someone tell me how to fix it. Thanks
