I have recently given my son my old 9000 Bold to use with his PAYG SIM.

He has a £20 feedom pack, which includes 500Mb Web access - but we cannot get onto the Internet/Vodafone Live.

The Vodafone website "Troubleshooter" had a link to the "Configurator" - but this turned out to just be a link to the phone help guides,

and was no use at all

Please can somebody help.

It's OK - I fixed it myself.
I had already added BIS - but I hadn't restarted the phone - needed to take battery out, and internet works now.
Though how will it work when BIS stops being free, as we only buy Freedom Packs - will we have to buy £5 Topup as well?

Brilliant news that you have got this fixed, it did sound like BIS was needed on the phone.

Based on current prices, when the BIS is no longer free, then you will need to Top up £5 per month. I am sure when this is coming to the end of the period, more information will become available.
