RIDICULOUS CUST. SERVICE!!

I received my new BB Torch on 14th March on 20th March it stopped working totally and won't do anything. I call customer service at 8.30pm on the 14th to find that they are shut, so I call the next day and told it's within the 7 day return period. I quote the Sale of Goods Act 1971 amended 1974 with takes precedence over any other act or regulation i.e distance selling regulations, to be told that I can send it back for a repair and that I'd receive a return pack on 26th March. I didn't receive the return pack yesterday so I call customer service to be told it takes 3 - 5 working days to reach me then theres the time it takes for it to be received at the repair centre and then to be checked and repaired/replaced! This is NOT what you'd expect from a BRAND NEW PHONE nor the shoddy service I've received from Vodafone. I'd be very tempted to cancel my contracts with Vodafone and go elsewhere, my bills are always paid on time etc and never had any issues/problems with Vodafone before. So Vodafone, what are you going to do to keep your customer happy? I personally, would like a replacement phone either sent out to me or to be collected from my local Vodafone store, as I'm exercising my consumer rights and the Sale of Goods Act 1971 as amended 1974. This is my legal right and to be honest the service etc I've received from on the phone is ridiculous and have been given practically 3 different stories in the last 5 days!! Kenny

i have had a most awful experience with Vodafone.  Most of the time I have had my contract my service has had days and days where I have had no service.  I am however still expected to pay for this.

 

both myself and husband have tried to talk to vodafone in order to try and leave, but we have been passed from piller to post and back again.  i was promised a call back from a manager yesterday to happen within 24 hours, but so far have had nothing, so i called in again only to find that the manager did call me... to my mobile - which has no service ... twice.

 

i did tell the customer service team that they need to contact my land line. 

 

i was also adivsed that to leave my contract early I would have to pay an additional £60plus (GBP)... so to leave a servcie that \I'm not recieving but paying for I have to pay extra.,.. see you in court Mr Vodafone.

 

I am wondering if there is a minimum standard to dimness that Vodafones customer sewrvice people have to reach or are they all stupid?

 

BTW - I'm still waiting for my call back too... bet that doesmn't happen either.

 

I'm considering the small claims court for compo and an exit from my contract.
