Apologies for the delay in responding - your post appears to have slipped through the net when we've been logging everything.
Can I ask the reason you need the replacement? Is it a faulty handset, a damaged one or a lost one? If it's faulty, you may be able to arrange a warranty repair rather than buying a new one. If that's not an option, or it's one of the other reasons, then if you have insurance you may be able to claim a replacement, although there may be a charge for excess.
Also, how long is left on your contract? It may be that you'll be able to arrange an upgrade which would reduce the up-front cost of the handset, and possibly even remove it completely.
