Sim card error

Options
I have just upgraded to blackberry bold 9790. I have sim card error message on phone And cannot use it for anything. Please please help.

Is it a new sim card? I.e. Not your original one...if so you need to get it activated, but you should be able to use original...if it is your original sim does it work in your old phone?
