a status indicator has popped up on my phone display, it looks like a world with a number 1 next to it. It is obviously some form of ststus alert, but the user guide does not tell you anything about it. can anyone help get rid of it?

Hi there,

It sounds like the updated bookmark/saved webpage icon. Easiest way to get rid of it is to go into your messages folder, highlight today's date, display the menu by pressing the BlackBerry key and choose Mark Prior Opened (i think, off the top of my head).

Faldinio is spot on here, the world icon with a number 1 next to it is simply a Wap alert. Simply follow his instructions and this will show the Wap message and from here you can either access the link or delete it, it's down to you.
