Unable to receive MMS from samsung

I am unable to receive MMS messages on my Bold 9900 sent from samsung phones. The message box just says ***Not Retrieved Yet **** Download Now.
When i click on the download now box a window flashes up says retrieving now. The window then disappears and nothing else happens.
I can recieve MMS from other blackberry, Nokia and apple phones the problem seems to be just with Samsung. I suspect that the format the file is saved as on the samsung is not being accepted by my Bold. Has anyone else experienced this problem? if so do you know how to sort it?
Thanks

Hi ripur,
I must admit that this is a bit of a strange one as the file format shouldn’t be any different on each phone.
However there could be a problem with the size of the file that is being sent.
When looking at this issue there are a few things to look at;
What size is the picture message?
If the person with a Samsung puts their SIM in a different phone does it work OK?
Does this affect MMS from a Samsung on any network? (Vodafone included)
If you place your SIM in a different phone, do you get the same issue?
How many people are you struggling to receive MMS from who use a Samsung?
Also, please can you go into options – Device – Advanced Options – Browser Push – Enable Push
If you can let me know I will be able to look at this for you.

I have expereinced this problem from 3 people all with samsung phones on O2. My wife who also has a blackberry has also experienced this problem.
I've checked that my settings have enable push selected.
I've just asked for a message to be sent using a HTC again on O2 but have not even recieved that. Text messages are coming through fine.

Hi ripur,
Thanks for getting back to me.
This could be one of two things here and I think that we need to clear this up a bit first;
Are all of the messages that fail coming from O2?
Have you tried to receive them from different networks?
Have you tried your SIM in a different phone (none BlackBerry)?
What happens with your SIM in the none BlackBerry handset?
Can you confirm that all messages from the Vodafone Network are working OK?
Are all messages from O2 failing?
If you can let me know we will be able to look into this further for you as it sounds like your account and the phone are set up correctly.

Yes all the messages that are failing are coming from O2. I have received mms messages from other networks (3 and orange, im not sure about vodafone).
I've not been able to try my sim in a different phone as i do not have access to another phone which will accept my vodafone sim.
Messages from vodafone are working OK as are SMS sent from O2, it just appears to be the mms messages that are failing.
