Hi,

Out of credit on a Blackberry at the moment. Have Wi-fi activated which allows me to access Twitter.. but nothing else?

Surely having a Wi-Fi connection should allow me online with this?

I'm on a business tariff so slightly different but I find that if I turn off Data Services I can use wifi to access the general internet apart from Vodafone pages.

Hi, I've since looked online and apparently it's the App I downloaded for Twitter allows it but the Facebook one doesnt.

As i've no current valid in use package it's not letting me on as it's all routed through that option.

Will have some credit on it soon hopefully if my Rewards are redeemed

Can't you use the Browser over wifi either?

Have you checked the APN settings (in the TCP/IP menu)?  These allow access to the internet over WAP rather than via RIM servers - so might allow access over wifi.  You might then be able to use Facebook mobile website rather than the app.
