Vodafone UK BB 9700 6.0.0.668 bundle (6.0.0.2949)

Just wondered if anyone else has had the above upgrade? although the linked softwear upgrade site from the Voda support tab says the 6.0.0.2475 is the newest update but when I plug my bb into the device bb desktop manager it promts me to install the 6.0.0.2949 upgrade which is the next installment form the 2475!!! I've installed it without any problems but has anyone else installed the 2949 verson?

Yes, I updated my BB 9700 about a week ago via Desktop Software to 6.0 Bundle 2949 (v6.0.0.668, Platform 6.6.0.236). But whenever I have reconnected to DS since then it tells me that there's an updated version, which is the version I upgraded from a week ago, i.e. 6.0 Bundle 2921 (v6.0.0.666, Platform 6.6.0.241). I notice that the numbering is higher in my current version, except for the Platform number, which is lower.

???

I just put mine back on the destop manager and I can confirm that its comes up with 'Softwear up to date' and could roll back to the earlier verson if I wanted to, How has your been running on your bb since the upgrade? is the memory leak any better?

It's been fine. I've noticed that more websites seem to load before the 'out of memory' message appears and closes the browser, like it used to before, on occasion. The Vodafone Sim menu doesn't appear any more on startup, which is good, so it has fixed that bug!

I have today and it's a bit of a mess! It doesn't allow me to setup my emails anymore, only offers enterprise which I have never had...

I have to relaod quite a few apps and some cannot be found anymore.

I cannot tell much more about other services as most of them are still down!

Hi guys.

The BlackBerry outage is now all fully resolved. :smileyhappy:

If you haven't already, pull and replace your battery as this will force your handset to update on the network.

If you've still issues after trying this please let me know.
