I have a Blackberry 9300 which is about 10 months old, last month it started to freeze all the time, coming up with a timer all the time. I updated on my PC an it was ok for a while then it started to come up with a white sreen with the word RESET in the middle !! this happens every few days.
Any help would be great ![]()

Hi ad.
The 9300 was rather short on (working) memory & OS6 was not particularly good at recycling it or preventing memory leakage (closed apps holding on to chunks of memory).
Keep an eye on Free Space (Application Storage) inside Application Management option. To allow smooth running of the OS, this needs to be 1MB - preferably more. When memory becomes short, weird things happen - freezes, resets, etc. To maximise memory, make sure apps are closed when not needed - only allow core apps to run in the background.
If you are constantly running short of memory, it is possible to reduce the space taken by the OS by deleting unwanted languages (it's surprising the space that is taken by these).
The resets could also be caused by data corruption - either in the OS or, more likely, in a third-party app. Have you noticed any particular trigger (opening/closing a certain app or a particular time/place)?
Hope this helps.
