Will I use up my bbm data allowance?

I have a 50mb a month allowance for bbm, and i will send about 100 and get about 100 texts (on bbm).

do you think i will go over my allowance?

thank you for any answers!

Re: Will I use up my bbm data allowance?

Didnt know there were any plans with just 50mb a month?

Anyhow, no, you wont use up no where near that with 100 BBM's in and out.

Text takes up just a few Kb and there are 1024Kb in 1Mb..... so you probably only use about 1mb worth.

If you send/recieve pics/audio via BBM this will use more but would have to get an awful lot to come close to 50mb.

All data/BBM gets compressed too, so Blackberrys will ALWAYS use less data than other smartphones.... which makes other phones less smart eh?

Enjoy your 'berry

Hi paw400

As Tomo1971 has mentioned BBM does use data and this is regardless of what data source it goes through. Each message is only a few kbs so you can send thousands of these and you will hardly see the difference in your data usage.
