to use it as a bluetooth modem its quite simple..
make sure you have setup the apn on your BB in options > advanced options > tcp/ip
set them to
apn:internet
user: web
pass: web
then..
1) install blackberry desktop manager for mac and reboot.
2) on your BB enable bluetooth and make sure its discoverable.
3) on the mac, open the bluetooth preference pane and click the + to add a new device.
4) pair the device by following the wizard
5) during the wizard, you will get to Bluetooth Mobile Phone Setup. Select the following :
Phone Vendor: Research In Motion
Phone Model: Blackberry IP Modem (GSM)
Username: web
Password: web
APN: internet
CID: 1
tick the boxes for showing status in the menu bar.
6) in the top menu bar you should now see a phone handset type icon. click on it and you should see an entry for Bluetooth DUN. Clicking that option should launch the dial up procedure. Check your phone it should ask you to confirm the connection and youre away.....
hope this helps
If you want to do it via USB, let me know...
