Hi,
i received a blackberry curve 8900 for my Christmas, and I've connected the phone to my wireless connection at home, but when i went on the internet, it charged me, i thought if you went on the internet with a wireless connection it was free?

Hi,
If you're going through a wifi connection for browsing the web you shouldn't be charged. Do you know if the wifi dropped off at all at any point and reverted you back to GPRS / 3G?
Worth testing out the connectivity of the router first of all. Try turning off your mobile network connection on your phone within 'Manage Connections' and try again through the wifi connection.
If it holds up it'll show the router is working. If you could let people know what router you're using along with what type of security connection (e.g. WEP) it'll give us a little more information to search out an answer for you.
