blackberry storm 9500 - Change from BES to BIS

Hi can anyone help me as i need to change my fone format from BES to BIS to set up email.

Please can you provide a bit more information regarding your current setup, is the phone new or have you been using it for a while, are you trying to setup a normal email address (not company enterprise address)?

In most cases it's as simple as us adding the BIS function via your account, which we can do, however it would help to know a little more background in case we can help via the forum.

the fone is new and yes i am trying to set up a normal email address and only option is company enterprise address.

Hmmm... sounds like you're missing BIS from your price plan! That's normally the reason why this happens. I'll be sending you an email shortly so we can take a peek at your account and check that this has been properly added, or if it still needs to be done.

Hi, I have a second hand 9500 here and have added BIS to my account, but the phone is still only giving me the enterprise option in the email setup! how do I fix this?

I had both BIS and BES living very successfully on my Storm. I don't think you have to do anything in the phone itself. I suspect it is an account provisioning issue.

 

If you go to http://www.mobileemail.vodafone.net/ and try and log in and set up a POP3 account what happens?
