I can't see the torch 9860 anywhere in the list of available phones. Has it been dropped so soon and if so why?

Hi John,

It does look like the 9860 isn't available on our website any more, and I can't see them on our ordering system either.

The lifespan of phones varies- there's nothing to say how long we'll normally sell a handset for, and it generally depends on popularity.

Is there a particular reason you ask? Were you thinking of purchasing one?

Was told by our Vodafone Business Account Manager that Vodafone would stop supplying this model in June/July 2012. Our RIM rep however said it was still a current device so Vodafone's decision appears to be their's. I never received an answer from Vodafone as to why it was dropped but considering my experiences, it's possibly because it's a terrible phone?
