internet tether blackberry bold 9700

Hi Guys!

I am new to this forum and hope that someone can help me.

I have a blackberry bold 9700 and have just purchased a playbook.

I have managed to link them via blackberry bridge, but don't seem to be able to connect them via internet tethering.

Can someone help me set this up?

I am on a monthly personal package plan.

Set it up for Vodafone.

Hi Sanjivsai,

Many thanks for your post here.

I have just tested this on my Blackberry Curve and found the easiest way to do this is to;

Open Desktop Manager,

Select IP Modem,

Select Configure under connection settings,

Select connection profile Vodafone UK contract,

Tick the box at the bottom to keep connection active after Desktop Manager is closed,

Click OK,

Connect you Blackberry via USB cable to your Playbook,

Once Desktop Manager recognises your device is connected,

Click Connect.

Give this a go and let me know if you have any troubles.
