ive been waiting for a replacement phone for 2 weeks now as mine is faulty VODA= ONE BIG JOKE

i got a brand new bold 9900 last year i have had to send it off for repair about 6 times, they even gave me a brand new handset in exchange the 3rd time, although there own policy states that after 3 times i should of been offered a full refund to the price of my handset. I finally managed to get them to exchange my phone for another handset, that took about a week, now a week later im still waiting for the actual exchange to happen and have been left with a broken phone, even though they said it was going to be sent out wednesday. If you actually call up you get put through to some call centre in egypt, then have to work out what there actually saying. Vodafone has become one big joke recently, especially to customers who have been with them for a number of years!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi OmarKurdie,

 

Thanks for the heads up. While there is word going around on other forums between customers, we have no policy in place with a 'three strike rule' to say we'll repair or refund handset costs under warranty. This would be a decision to be made by approaching the manufacturer directly (in your case RIM).

 

My team will be happy to track your repair for you if you'd like to email us directly. You can find your PM inbox here where I've popped some instructions over to you.

 

I can appreciate if this has frustrated you if you've had so many repairs on the one device. However, as RIM aren't aware of any general issues with the phone, we must treat any problems on a case by case basis.
