i can not seem to get my internet working on my blackberry either can i make out going calls or recieve or i can not send text messages can you tell me whats happening please

Hi Peter, I am having the same problems with my Blackberry Curve. According to my phone, my internet, wi-fi etc is all on, however, I get a message saying 'you are not currently in an area that can handle data communication. As a result, the Browser cannot retrieve any Web pages. It's annoying, to say the least! If anyone - or Vodafone ideally - can shed any light on this, I would be grateful. I cannot send or retrieve e-mails or get on the internet. What is going on?

Looking at the registered postcode you have put down on the eForum it shows there is very little signal , the views where you are must be amazing as  its one of my favourite  walking spots.

I would suggest having a read through our network troubleshooting thread, and trying to drop down to GSM only.
