Broadband severely slow

Hello,

 

After the Bank Holiday, my broadband has gone severely slow. I’ve spoken to Vodafone online, which they suggested to adjust my router position, channels, splitting SSID etc. None of these suggestions make any difference. Nothing has changed in my household, as I still have full reception to the router via wireless. Therefore, it can only be an issue with Vodafone.  Can a Vodafone Engineer please help here?

 

www.speedtest.net is showing 0.87Mbps download and 1.62Mbps upload.

 

The router is showing VDSL 21.4 Mbit/s and 3.6 Mbit/s.

For process of elimination purposes, I have to ask, are you using the router provided by us, or, your own router?

 

Yes. I'm using a Vodafone router

 

Model HHG2500

Firmware version 5.4.8.1.291.1.30.1.6

Hardware type and version Huawei 963168_HUAWEIVOX25
