Mobile Indicator Light on Vodafone Connect Router

Does anyone know what the mobile indicator on top of the Connect router is for?

Hi there

The mobile light has no current functionality in the UK at this time. That's what customer services have told me in the past. It only comes on when you perform a hard reset of the router (which, unless you have an issue you shouldn't need to do).
