I was chatting to the sales guy today whist he was ordering me IPad 2 and asked him when I first joined Voafone.  He checked the records and said I had joined them in 2000.  I cant really believe I have been with Vodafone 11 years already . There have been good times and more recently not such good times with Vodafone. Will I still be with Vodafone in another 11 years ? well unless they start to improve their coverage properly not. Back on to topic. How long have you been a Vodafone customer and will you stay with them ?

8 years through a variety of PayG sim only and contracts.

Nnot sure how much longer i'll be here if vodafones firmware policy stays as is.

It'll be five years in May for me- I joined Vodafone as a customer as I joined as a member of staff.

If I do ever go anywhere else in terms of work I'm not sure I'd leave the network as well- I used to be led by which phones were available on each network and Vodafone always have a selection which suits me now.

Apart from a year with Cellnet and one with Orange, and a couple of months with one2one I've been there since 1989. And the works phone has been there permenantly since 1990.

Is very likely to come to an end soon though.

I remember being with BTCellnet around about 1999 (on a really early Motorola brick phone) - spent a bit of time on Orange before moving to Vodafone around about 2003

My first phone was a Phillips which had a huge SIM card, it was before the small SIM cards which are now used were introduced. 

When I got the Phillips brick Vodafone were considered to be the best network with the best coverage, although Orange and BT Cellnet were improving their coverage.

I have been with Vodafone since those then, quite a few years.

just gone into my 2nd contract with them, nearly with them 2 years, have been really happy with them so far, no problems really.

i got my first contract with them the day after my 18th lol so 8 years now, and dispite the agro i give them on the phone and not very oftern on here when they mess up, i wont be going anyware soon, they have a customer for life, after a couple of years ago when i lost my job and they droped my contract from £40 a month to £15.

6 months on contract, no issues, any problems I have had could be solved by myself or I could talk customer services through the process (if they didn't know). Can't see myself changing :-)

 i have been on a contract for over 8 years, PAYG for about 3 years before that.. the only time i have really called them over the last few years is when i wanted to upgrade my phone, but now have the sense over the last 3-4 years to realise that i can do all of that online and save myself a phone call!

5 happy years and counting , and have only ever needed to call to bar a lost phone when i was out and about and not near my pc.

I have been with Voda over 15 years and after the problems i have had today I will be cancelling my connection. I have been out of contract for 2 years now so have not had any ties to them and even then remained a customer dur to the previous excelent service. however after the conversation i had with a "manager" today, they can stick it. never have I have I had to deal with such igronance and incompetance.......Shame, always had great service and product. one without the other isnt good enough for me, iI can get that anywhere. Rant over

15 months only for me, I am happy with VF, dont imagine I will be changing.

About 5 years I think  - I say "about" because Vodafone bought out my previous provider and I can't remember the year.  Never really had a problem in that time.  OK my most recent upgrade was a bit of a mare - cheap plan, therefore limited affordable handsets - and I'd rather not have been forced into longer contracts, but both those things would probably have happened with any other network too !

i have been with vodafone since 1999 first through the cpw then direct to vodafone best service i ahd was through best care team now its you guys at the efroum i have been a very loyal customer and i have managed to get all my family including in laws on as well i started off with the nokia 5110 on payg other networks have tried and failed to tempt me
