Here is a name we have no seen for ages

Panasonic have unveiled the Eluga power, a bigger, better Eluga flagship.
It has a 5" 1280 x 720 LCD display, a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, Android 4.0 and 8 GB of on-board storage among others.
Check this
The handset is IP57-certified, meaning it's dust protected and water resistant just like the original Eluga
SPLASH PROOF

DON'T try this at Home

Now for a Posh Phone
the
Lumigon T2

Now the posh bit B&O (Bang & Olufsen) NOT B&Q
squeezes hi-fi into a phone
Danish hi-fi maestro B&O has lent its expertise to the luxury Lumigon T2. Beneath the phone's precision-machined metal details lie B&O ICEpower Audio and an infra-red transmitter for controlling hi-fi equipment.
ita a all in one phone /remote/mobile thing

Ubuntu-Android Phone:
What you see on the large screen is coming from the phone not another PC!
The first level of functionality is that of a typical Android-powered smartphone.
This translates into games, apps and other tools that bring us the usual Android experience that we all know and love.
The next level of functionality comes in the form of a dock for the phone. Attached to a TV, this dock transforms your Android phone into a fully functional Ubuntu set top box. Ubuntu TV is a strong video-on-demand experience that is comparable to Amazon VOD or Netflix, but with a better UX (user experience).
The final level of functionality – and perhaps the most impressive – is taking this same dock and attaching it to a PC monitor and keyboard. Instantly, the phone becomes a full-fledged Ubuntu-powered computer.
Best of all, unlike a tablet, this portable PC fits right into your pocket.
Sweet...!

Possibly the most interesting announcement of late. The think that is really needed is a standard means of connection. This would need to be a dock which would allow you to wander into any office and plug in your particular phone model. I don't see corporate IT support enjoying people wandering up and unplugging keyboards and monitors.
I agree it would be cool and in a way which might actually be useful.

Yes a Dock is the way to go, Even Dell did dock with there laptops
One problem with docks is at the moment there is only one company that keep there data connection in the same place and thats Apple and they will never do a dual boot
Now Motorola are now doing this Bless them, they did start a bit shakey tho with differnt docks but the last two share the same dock so the dock needs a Video out and usb sockets or a video out and Bluetooth and RJ45 for network connection, wifi is sometimes not used
Now this would save companys loads on computer bills as in some cases there is no need for laptops and computers in offices
I'm supprised that there was not more on this as MWC 2012
is it the Lynx connection or the whole dock idea
Motorola got a big boost on this when google took over, giving them free rain with Googles tec labs
they have had a dabble with this before with even docking stations coming out and hacks to get this to work
with the Chrome laptops flopping i can see Google getting behind this
The companise i look after are looking at Motorola's Phone as you can do more with them

I strongly suspect that Google will have to take a lead here and declare some sort of dock standard. They have done this in other aspects of phone hardware, so why not interconnects. I fully expect Microsoft to go this route. It would make sense, if they (Microsoft) are planning on a uniform skin across all its platforms. (Though Microsoft will probably opt for a standard 4 cable connect system
)

It's gutting that Nokia killed Meego as this phone as PC thing would have been right up that OS's ally
Anyway the more I see of the 808 the more I am tempted,
Belle has finally bought the Symbian OS to a par with Android and Clara (Belle FP1) looks like it brings further improvements in responsivness and functionality
Whilst 41mpx seems overkill the way they are being used is really clever, rather than a straight 41mpx image, what comes out is somewhere between 5 and 8 mpx, with each pixel in the image beign a construct from 7 or so real pixels, this oversampling appears to vastly reduce the 'noise' in the resulting images leading to incredible amounts of detail being captured

What is one of the Buzz words at the MWC2012
Well Water Proofing
Two manufactures trying to brake into the smarphones market ar Panasonic see above
and now
Fujitsu

This is another IP57 phone
Water proofing or splash proofing is one of the most asked for by customer
Motorola have been doing this for ages now
Its taken them long enough
Some company's did this voluntary before
These phones are good news for people who have been hit hard with a repair bill
Fujitsu has not yet named the new phone, but the company has announced that it packs a 1.5GHz quad-core processor from Nvidia and a mighty impressive 13.1-megapixel camera - although it won't rival the 41-megapixel behemoth by Nokia
Up front, the nameless Fujistu houses a 4.6-inch full HD display and a finger print sensor for increased security, but the phone's party piece is that it's dust-proof and water-resistant to 1.5 metres.
The Japanese company claims that a careless user can leave the Ice Cream Sandwich-running phone submerged for up to 30 minutes before the device starts to let water in.
With a full HD 1080p resolution, that 4.6-inch screen apparently boasts a pixel density of 478 per inch, which puts the iPhone's famous Retina screen to shame, with 'only' 326 per inch. What this means, is that the Fujitsu's screen will look incredible and seem crisp as a high-quality magazine.
So who will be doing this well at the moment no one has signed this phone
It is rumoured to be coming to Europe Q4 but it will be intresting to see which network leeds the way in water proofing
People would prefer this then NFC support
