Toughest phone awards

I'm thinking of doing a toughest phone award on my blog, as a random bit of tech blogging stuff.

so i ask you all.

What is the phone you have owned that took the most abuse,.

For me it's the Sony ericsson V630i I got years ago when i took a second contract with Vodafone it still works perfectly now, and it's 3g connection seems faster than my C6-00 and E71 on 3g hands down
it;s also loved for being used by nearly half of the wifes family at some point as a spare phone!

Come on tell all! :smileyhappy:

Nokia 3410!

Survived many years of abuse, including a swim in the bath. I think it still works now

Re: Toughest phone awards

W900i was built like a brick, very heavy and took plenty of damage when I had it.

Wouldn't have liked to have dropped it when the spinning screen was open though...

Re: Toughest phone awards

I owned a w900 for a while until it blocked (9 days into contract) but i can imagine it coudl take a lot of stick.

I know the Motorola V3razr i owned was once lobbed across the floor at work in anger (was that or punch my team leader) the outer glass cracked but apart from that the screens were fine

Re: Toughest phone awards

My old N95 took a hell of a beating when I was using it, pulled it out of a draw a few years ago, stuck in a payg sim and battery and it still worked,

My current N8's proving fairly robust as well,

Motorola M3788 circa 1999

I got pushed into a swimming pool fully clothed with this attached to my belt. Remember when phones came with a leather case and a belt clip!

It still worked but it took a long time for the condensation to clear. :smileysurprised:
